About Siddhi

Siddhi has a special gift of touching the heart and soul of the audience.

She feels that dance frees her inner self.

When her mind and thoughts become silent, then her Body and Soul become one with the music and her movements.

At this moment she feels the hightest joy and her self gets united with the all-pervading power of the Universe.

Siddhi Bhasale, was born on March 8, 1975 in Klagenfurt, Austria.

At the age of four years she began learning ballet. Throughout her childhood, she acted and performed professionally in the state theatre Klagenfurt and played two leading roles for the Austrian ORF TV.

When she was 16 years old she travelled to India for the first time with her Yoga master late Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. There she saw an inspirational Kuchipudi performance of students from the famous Indian dance master Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam.

In 1993, after completing her education in a music high school in Austria, she went to India to learn the rare Kuchipudi dance form. She studied at the Kuchipudi Arts Academy in Chennai, South India, under the tutelage of Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam.Siddhi continues to learn new compositions from Kishore Mosalikanti, well known dancer, teacher and choreographer and student of Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam.
